Result description
The buoy which comes in two versions, one with 3m diameter and one with 2.5m diameter was deployed and tested in the Mediterranean sea in Spain and Cyprus.
Main features of the buoy are:
- Total payload exceeding 500Kg
- Battery capacity exceeding 550Ah
- Battery charging based on 1kW photovoltaic installation
- Supply voltage 12v DC with appropriate marine electrical installation to power any sensor underwater or on the sea surface
- On-board data acquisition processing unit
- Telemetry system which supports all data communications protocols
- On board GPS for buoy location monitoring
- On board 3G/4G model but can also support radio or satellite communication modems
- Fully customisable to comply with customer sensor needs
- Anchorage to support the structure for open sea installations
- Cloud platform for real time monitoring of data and buoy control
