The evaluation and impact assessment activities encompass the design of the project’s evaluation system, the implementation of the different evaluation exercises to measure, examine, and evaluate the successful implementation of the pilots, and the production of meaningful knowledge and evidence about the impact of POP-MACHINA’s pilot cases and circular solutions. The result is a co-created monitoring and impact assessment framework for urban/peri-urban circularity and regenerative capacity, including technical indicators, and social, sustainability and scalability variables.

R&D, Technology and Innovation aspects
The framework may operate in the frames of any level of local or regional administration or in the frames of any circular initiative or network thereof. The framework supports sustainability as it mon-itors sustainability parameters, towards urban regeneration, circular transition and vulnerable groups inclusion. Political commitment and small funding for users’ training will ensure long term sustainability of the practice. Some costs may be relevant to the tool development if not developed in house.
