Tool olive oil growing supports farmers and olive growing cooperatives with the planning and management of olive groves with attention to sustainability and landscape conservation. By selecting the area of interest information is provided on soil type, geography, topography and solar radiation which supports decisions about the choice of variety and the sustainable management of the olive grove. Geospatial information is available which is very useful in the choice of olive grove varieties, the planting layout and the best planning management practices (e.g., potential pruning). Climatic data is also provided for better planning and more sustainable management of the grove.
