Integrated design tool for ground heat exchangers

Result description

Python model code for design of ground heat exchanger: vertical borehole ghex, horizontal, ring-type (slinky) and spiral (earth basket) ghex. Code includes e.g. accounting for near-surface seasonal temperature gradients, GHEX thermal resistance calculations with interpolation between laminar and turbulent flow, different fluid types temperature dependent properties etc.
