A descriptive template for ‘Implementation Stories’, which describe implementation of FAIR enabling activities by Research Performing Organisations (RPOs) and Research Data Infrastructures (RDIs). It is accompanied by a set of such stories demonstrating how organisations have taken actions consistent with the recommendations of the EC Expert Group on FAIR data, and of the FAIRsFAIR project. These include the project’s FAIR Data Practice Analysis, Policy Enhancement Recommendations, and Recommendations on practice to support FAIR data principles.

We encourage RPOs to make use of the collection of Implementation Stories to learn from their peers on implementing FAIR-enabling practices and support in a practical sense. We invite others to contribute to the body of Implementation Stories by making use of our template available from our Zenodo Community (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.6206619)
