Environmental and agriculture sustainability requires simultaneous improvement in the ecosystem services provided by the soil. These include (i) Food, fibre, and energy provision, (ii) Water storage and purification, (iii) Neutralization, filtering and buffering of pollutants, (iv) Natural hazard regulation, (v) Climate regulation, (vi) Archive natural and cultural phenomena, etc. But despite this overwhelming use of the “Ecosystem Services” there is an astonished lack of suitable operational tools to evaluate them, also in agriculture. The tool works over the Campania Region, Marchfeld and Zala County and allows the free selection of any region of interest (ROI), administrative unit (e.g. Municipality). The user can choose between 7 types of ESs: i) Food Provision: Equivalent durum wheat production; ii) Water Regulation: Runoff/flood control; iii) Water Regulation: Groundwater recharge; iv) Water Regulation: Water storage; v) Water Regulation: Crop water stress index; vi) Nutrient and pollutants retention and release: Filtering capacity; vii) Carbon regulation: Carbon pool; vii) Microclimate Regulation: Heat containment.
