The DSO ToolBox is conceived as an extension of current DMSs aiming to enhance distribution grid’s Operation and Management, providing a suite of goal-oriented applications:
Business Applications & Services
Analytics services such as energy forecasting, prediction of voltage violations and grid congestions, detection of grid faults and state estimation; acting as an integral part of the applications.
Applications offering advanced grid operations such as congestion prevention, islanded grid operation management, voltage compensation, grid technical loss reduction and self-healing after faults.
Integration Platform
Facilitates data flow and interactions among grid observability and control components of the DSO Toolbox and the legacy applications and services of the DSO through standard and secure interfaces.
Enables performing an impact assessment of active grid management operations and exposes an overview of the Business Applications & Services through an intuitive graphical User Interface.
