The Pump Optimizer is an IT solution realized as a piece of software that can be easily deployed in the existing control platform of our clients.
Our solution implements a static optimizer that naturally incorporates the operational curves of each pumps of the pumping system and minimizes the energy use.
It will reduce substantially the consumption of the pumping systems that are relevant, especially in district cooling networks.
The optimizer has been thought for the pumping system of the distribution network but can be applied to the primary circuit (generation circuit) or even other applications apart from district heating/cooling networks.

Tekniker & Veolia in Spain, and R2M in Italy will look for new project and showcases through which the solution may be improved, paying special attention to move the development from TRL5 to higher TRL, and analyse the feasibility of this solution for district heating systems.
It is necessary to analize how to obtain software that facilitates replicability and implementation in different installations, facilitating its commercialization. Analysis of other sectors where its application is feasible: drinking water distribution networks, power generation plants that have large distribution circuits with other heat transfer fluids.
Giroa-Veolia is interested in replicating the experience of the pilot site of Basurto Hospital into other hospitals.
Tekniker has started contacts with key local players that can apply the solution in new sectors.
