The role of the HaaS (Hackathon as a Service) platform is to facilitate organisers providing infrastructure and a ready-to-work environment for e ach participant in a hackathon, allowing them to focus on their ideas and improvements and not worry about anything related to installing or configuring software.

R&D, Technology and Innovation aspects
Currently the platform is fully operational. University of Zaragoza (Spain) is working to perform real events with interested institutions to validate it and to get feedback to improve it so we can explode it. The team is in touch with Kampal Data Solution company, a spin-off of the University of Zaragoza, to license the exploitation of the platform as it showed interest in the tool commercialization.
We have defined some pricing plans depending on the event size and the number of participants. The maximum number of participants is limited, so the business model will be sustainable in the long-term. If the needs of this kind of event grow, we can adjust the prices and increase the limits.
