The Inspection Process Monitoring (IPM) application is designed and developed to orchestrate the entire inspection process, while facilitates the communication between the operators in the control room and the field. Also, it facilitates the monitoring of the entire process, while it contributes to the standardization of the inspection process for bridges and tunnels.
The processes are dynamically modelled and facilitate easy visualisation of the end-to-end inspection process they are serving. The process and roles can be easily reconfigured. This process keeps track of all actions and all agents involved and allocates them tasks when time comes. This Control operator has full visibility of the process and the agents are informed when they have a task to do.
This is a unique idea that originates from factory automation first time demonstrated in the infrastructure inspection and monitoring domain.
