Result description
RI-URBANS is demonstrating the European added value of the use of the novel metrics and tools for better assessment of air quality (AQ) and AQ-health links. These novel metrics nano- (or ultrafine-) particles, offline and online PM chemical speciation, Black Carbon (BC), ammonia (NH3), volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and 3D measurements. RI-URBANS compiled datasets on these above novel AQ parametres. These data are of very high value for further health studies, for improving and validating modelling tools and for air quality policy assessment and have been obtained in collaboration with ACTRIS and IAGOS. These datasets and the procedures used for harmonisation are described in https://riurbans.eu/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/RI-URBANS_D1_D1_1.pdf, data can be provided undre request to the authors, but the final goal of RI-URBANS is to transfer all the data to EBAS, the ACTRIS’ data centre, which is an open dataset.
