R&D, Technology and Innovation aspects
The Playbook has been tested in multi-actor workshops in each of our 6 demonstrator regions. Lessons learned have been compiled. Under the REGILIENCE project, the Playbook will be replicated in other regions. The results also will be discussed at the ECCA2023 session that we are organising. In the next phase, we will further develop the Playbook into a webtool. Also the functionalities on impact and cost-benefit assessment will be improved. Also, we will discuss with financial institutions and insurance how additional budget for adaptation can be realised.
Adaptation pathways can be developed for any sector, and with any actor or group of actors. Now the Playbook has been applied for individual sectors (like agriculture, tourism, water, smart cities)
The approach has been tested already on 6 demonstrator regions, and will be further replicated under the REGILIENCE project.
