Result description
Based on the Sensitec AFF755B sensor chip, a hardware Proof of Concept was developed for Partial Discharge Detection in high-voltage cables.
This work was carried out by pre-bachelor students at HAN University of Applied Sciences.

Current stage description
Based on the Sensitec AFF755B sensor chip, a hardware Proof of Concept was developed for Partial Discharge Detection in high-voltage cables.
Further design steps would be to increase noise robustness and selectivity, and to tailor the PoC towards portable use (including e.g. location logging via GPS).
